i am just gonna ask because I don`t know but who are the ten corners better than him. I see a lot of talk about he`s not a top tier guy, then who are those guys -- starting with Revis...

I am content with it. He is what he is as a player, he got super hyped up after we signed and overpaid for him however he is still better than a majority of corners in the league. He is undoubtedly top 20 which while not elite is excellent considering the amount of corners on the field at any given time. If Claiborne continues to progress and can eventually surpass Carr we will be very well off at CB.

He won't get hurt if they stay above the waist. Just don't anyone touch his hammys...

The Dallas fanbase overrated him, so expectations were set to high. He is overpayed, but that comes with signing free agents instead of drafting them.

Lee has been injury prone since college.. but when he is on the field he is the best guy playing.
If your referring to Miles Austin he is still performing as a top 20 WR despite all the injuries . Once again when healthy he is top 5. It is truly sad he has to battle so many injuries. Anyone thinking we should move on from him is ignorant because we then would have to spend atleast a 1st round pick on replacing him. A waste.

Miles Austin will come out stronger, faster, smarter. The team has been saving our star players for when it counts, I hope!
I bet he does...

Don't think he's top 5 even when he's healthy. He has taken a step backwards this year. Some will say it started last year.

Carr > TNew
This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

He is what he is. The guy is a good CB, but he's not great. He doesn't have the "ball hawk" look I like to see out of secondary guys.

If the Cowboys had more pressure on defense, maybe we will see some ints...
I think we will.

I'm happy. Just wish he was cheaper.
It's too difficult with these rules for a DB to be dominant.

Can't argue that point, but Carr has never been much of a turnover machine. It just feels like we don't have a lot of play-making talent on defense when it comes to turnovers.

Good player. Obviously we paid too much to sign him but that's the nature of free agency. Fortunately he's still relatively young and he'll be good player for at least another 3-4 years.
