Philly never had a 22-21 lead going into the 4th qtr because the Cowboys had a 78 yd punt return to take the lead 24-17. Then we scored again on a INT return that increased the lead to 31-17. So try and know what you are talking in the future if you are going to state why we are going to lose.

Dude you might try reading my post carefully so you don't come off looking foolish. I was referring to the Monday night game where Philly had a 22-21 lead over CAROLINA heading into the 4th quarter. No where have I stated the Cowboys are going to lose Sunday night to Philly I'm saying a victory over the Eagles isn't a sure thing.

Oh ok, I thought you were talking about the cowboys game.
Still what does the 2-8 Panthers being down 22-21 in the 4th Qtr have to do with a 5-6 Cowboys team who already beat the eagles with shady and jackson?????????????

If followed my discussion instead of glossing over everything you would have known what I was talking about. The Cowboys beat the Eagles with 2 defensive TD's, one special teams TD and with Foles at QB who entered the game with not one single regular season snap. Foles looked better against the Cowboys than he did against Carolina. He passed for 219 yards and a TD vs the Cowboys in relief of Vick. The Cowboys were down 17-10 in that game and had it not been for the defensive and special teams scores they would have lost. You would think with 21 points coming from the defense and special teams the Cowboys would have won in a blowout but a 15 point victory isn't a blowout.
Go back and review the Panthers game vs the Cowboys Newton was awful and the Cowboys barely won. The Cowboys offense can't score enough points to blow anyone out the 11 games they've played this season backs that up. Even as bad as Philly is it would take a fluke or a total quit job by the Eagles for the Cowboys to win by 17 or more Sunday night. I mentioned in a previous post if you remove Romo from the Cowboys offense they would be just about as bad off as Philly.
The Cowboys are dead last in rushing so the only way they can move the ball and score is by throwing it so good luck trying to get the ball down the field with Orton who isn't exactly Houdini behind the Cowboys crappy OL. The Cowboys have a lot of the same problems as Philly on the OL, with turnovers and both teams coaches are under fire. Both teams have beat themselves a number of times this season with turnovers. Some here are acting like the Cowboys are in a different class than Philly when the fact is they're both struggling under 500 for a lot of the same ugly reasons.

The Cowboys can't exactly be full of confidence themselves after their performance on Thanksgiving and how this season has gone thus far. How much confidence do you think they have already having 6 losses heading into Dec with Pitts, Cinn, NO and Wash left?
The Eagles are playing with a very short deck and have nothing to lose on Sunday. They're done and so is Andy Reid so they can throw caution to the wind. It's not wise taking a down and out team like that for granted especially when you're a team as mediocre as the Cowboys who have only 2 more wins than Philly.
Babin being cut has sent a message to the rest of Philly's players their heads could be next on the chopping block before the season ends so I don't expect them to lay down. I'm not saying the Cowboys won't win I'm expecting them to win but I'm not expecting a cakewalk.

The Eagles beating us is not the unthinkable at all. Even with all their mess and injuries, they are still just as or more talented than the Browns and we were really close to losing to them at home. This will be a hard fought game for us.

Man, you couldn't be more wrong if you tried. You go on and on about our last game against Philly but that game had meaning to it, loser was pretty much out of the playoffs.. they called it the "fork game" cause whoever lost was going to get the fork. So Philly played as tough as they could until a few players got hurt. Fast forward to this Sunday. Everyone knows Reid is getting fired, they cut Babin, Lesean Mccoy is out, Vick is out, Desean Jackson is out, they are starting a rookie QB that is completely inept, and they just got throttled by a 2-8 Carolina team that has been a joke all season and somehow you think it will be a close game between us and Philly?
Again. the Cowboys do suck this year but the Eagles are on a whole different level of suck and will get killed by the Cowboys Sunday night.

How can you say that? What team have the Cowboys 'killed' recently? I mean it could happen but the chances of the Cowboys 'killing' the Eagles are no better than the chances of us losing that game.

Hmm... last team we killed was well.....the Eagles 38-23. They played tough at first until their team fell apart.
Now we are getting the team that had the wheels come off... they are a train wreck.

That Browns team is actually a pretty good team. They find reasons to lose close games, but they keep the games close and play hard. I actually am pretty impressed with what they're doing. I think Shurmur deserves another year to see what they can do. They're just limited at QB.
When asked whether Jason Garrett is the right head coach for this team: "I don't think there is anyone else that could. I think he is an unbelievable coach. We've responded to him and he has made us better football players, better people. If you watch us I think we play with a certain relentless spirit." --Sean Lee

Yeah, they aren't that bad.. they have had a lot of close games all year. Philly on the other hand has literally given up.
