The Cowboys received 3 picks, a 1st, 2nd and 3rd rounder for Walsh. If memory serves, we used one (or 2?) in a deal with Pittsburgh which ended up with us drafting Emmitt Smith. Another one resulted in us drafting Erik Williams. Not too bad of a return on the Walsh investment.

The Cowboys got two picks for Walsh: 1991 third round pick (#70-Erik Williams) and 1992 second round pick (#52-Patrick Rowe).
Emmitt came via a choice from Pittsburgh when we swapped first round picks (our pick came from Minnesota via the Herschel Walker deal).
