Default Witten has more catches than megatron

and he's 4 catches away from the league lead.

that's pretty nuts.

I don't believe anyone in the NFL will catch more balls than Wes Welker at this point in the season. he has come from nowhere to lead the NFL.

However, the all time record for receptions by a TE in 102 by Tony Gonzalez in 2004. Jason Witten has 88. He can easily break that record at the rate he is going.

Dude, that is not a comparison.

Man, people need to get over the sensitivity to other players and coaches being named.

I hear you....I really do.

But why does he have to have more than Megatron? Why can't he have more than Dez?

Or be a few away from Wes Welker? or that he has the second most catches? See what I'm saying?

There are other names that could have been used, to point out the best WR in football, is a comparison

great player, great leader, great accomplishment.

but i dont know if this stat is necessarily good for the offense as a whole. i think dez and miles need more touches.

I don't know. Why don't you start a thread like that and not worry about why he chose the player he did?

A comparison is "he reminds me of." When someone talks numbers it is not a comparison unless they say, 'It compares to."

Oh I get it....

So he has to say "He compares to" to be a comparison.

Well I think Witten is having a better season then Megatron.

Talk about sensitivity. Who pissed in your cornflakes and rattled your cage.

Or maybe it's just to show how great Witten is and has played that a TE is able to put up those kinds of numbers like the best WR in football.

I don't think he's trying to say Witten is as great an athlete or player as Megatron.

Geez people get worked up over the silliest stuff.

Didn't know anyone had. I don't eat breakfast, especially cereal. I'm just tired of the LCD method of screaming about comparison that don't exist.

You call that worked up?

Then I guess I guess you are fuming.....for the simple fact you had to quote me, break it down, and then let me know I'm worked up
