Talk about different strokes. I thought GoT was a lot better than Boardwalk has been so far. Maybe I just don't have all the patience you need to allow characters to develop and that sort of thing, but GoT at least had some action and humor and the characters were more...bold maybe. Honestly, I have a hard time remembering who is who in Boardwalk, I don't remember that being an issue in GoT.

That final episode was crazy good. All 3 seasons were worth watching just for that one episode.

It definitely made the season worth watching. It was good to see Harrow take care of business.

I love the show. It sucks that both Boardwalk and Walking Dead ended on the same week.

I just started watching Game of Thrones again, and think I've come to understand why I like that but not Boardwalk.

In Boardwalk, while the characters are really developed...none of them are "good." They're all criminals, liars, or manipulators. If someone dies or goes to prison, it's just a matter of "well that's what they get." At least in GoT there's individuals to root for, so to speak, which to me, makes the show way more interesting.

I went from having to decide between TWD, Boardwalk, Dexter and SNF to Dexter or SNF. Unless we are playing it's just Dexter.

I'm not sure how those who haven't read the books can keep up with the GoT TV series. It is a massive cast of characters and it is going to continue to grow.

If you've read the books, it isn't bad keeping up though.

Yep... and Nucky vowed to take them all down when they abandoned him. He started it and now we have to wait a year to find out how he continues to do it.

The main gangsters outside of Jimmie Darmody and Gyp are/were real and following pretty much what happened in real life...

Arnold Rothstein, btw, is the one who fixed the infamous Black Sox World Series in 1919...
