KCBI-FM (90.9 in Dallas) reports this afternoon that Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo has committed $1 million over three years to the Miracle of the Million program. The donation was announced during a breakfast with Dr. Tony Evans, pastor of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Dallas, and members of the program.

Evans was a co-official at Tony Romo’s wedding to Candice Crawford in May of 2011, and Romo has promoted the Miracle of the Million program with video endorsements such as the one below.

Pretty cool guy we've got at QB.
When asked whether Jason Garrett is the right head coach for this team: "I don't think there is anyone else that could. I think he is an unbelievable coach. We've responded to him and he has made us better football players, better people. If you watch us I think we play with a certain relentless spirit." --Sean Lee

I'd rather pick a charity to give my money to, rather than let uncle sam have a bigger chunk. Plus you look awesome!

People can dog Tony all they want, but no one can say he isn't a good guy.

Would have been nice if the video explained what the "Miracle of the Million program" is all about. What kind of charity is it? I didn't get the warm and fuzzies to go out and donate so it failed on that level.

QB Tony Romo has played 4 "Win or Go Home" games since 2008 (includes 2 playoff gms) -- in 3 of them, his QBR was less than 20"
