Default Tom Coughlin is a whiner

http://www.giants.com/news-and-blogs...0-6dfdbbe0a460

On the penalties:
“I don’t know what the breakdown is, but in our division, this team had 93 or 98 penalties. We had 48. So tonight we got eight called, maybe nine. They got three… Obviously on the special teams areas, every time we did something it seemed like there was a penalty.”

Cry me a river, Coughlin. Terrible calls went both ways. You lost, and your remaining schedule has a .583 winning percentage.

I really can't stand that guy or that team. I'm hating them more all the time because of their stupid little attitudes.

Every time Victor Cruz does his arrogant and annoying little salsa dance I wish George Teague would deck him.

Of course he is, just watch him during the games. He's constantly stomping and whining on the sidelines. It's ridiculous a guy that old behaving like that during a game.

Is there a bigger pair of whiney babies than Osi and Tuck? I loathe Osi and dislike Tuck only slightly less.

Parcells, for all his hardassedness, had guys who would follow him anywhere. When Coughlin left Jacksonville, the general consensus was that the players wouldn't have to contribute to the proposed hit-man pool anymore. Coughlin was hated by most of his players there. I remember... QB Brunnel, I think, was pretty vocal on this.

When Coughlin went to NY, there were some serious issues with the team until he pulled in his horns. The players did not put up with his bull****. Maybe he's mellowed now. It sometimes happens.

The NY coaches I would like to see are the ones who get their substandard OLines to play that well.

Yep. When the giants hired him back in 2004, I knew that was going to be a problem for us and it sure has been.

2 super bowls later and they are still compeating on a high level.

The only good thing is that he is getting up there in age and hopefully he will retire soon.

The only reason the Giants are leading the division this year is Mara knee-capped the Redskins and Cowboys. He has a $20 million cap advantage over the Redskins and a $7 million cap advantage over the Cowboys.

That makes a huge difference -- especially considering the Giants are right up against the Cap.
