Signed this guy.

Sad to say this should have been done a couple of weeks ago and we could have used that space.

Man, I want to see Kowalski in at center. He makes this line better from the first snap.

Kowalski had terrific speed/agility measureables in pre-draft workouts. He could be really good in Callahan's Zone Blocking Scheme.

I want to see Kowalski completely healthy.

This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

Well he's been back for two weeks now. I would think he is healthy.

The move was probably made because the team thinks "Killa" is ready to contribute. Sad for Costa but glad for Killa.

What was the main knock on Kowalski last year? Did he need more strength, technique, footwork, size? I can't remember.

Yes, unfortunately this has been a pattern.

But I will take the high road and say that I'm very happy that they finally made a move on the offensive line.

It's a shame that we couldn't see what Costa could do this year, now we have to get a new center for 2013. There is no way we go in blind with him.
