This is Tony Romo's team. If you don't like him, find another team.

How can someone be so stupid!!!!
I can not believe that someone would post the most dumbest thing I have ever read on this website. There is no way that the Cowboys would part with Demarcus Ware Jerry Jones has done alot of things that most fans do not agree with but he is not that crazy to trade Demarcus Ware!!!

Can I get an example of how "little" you think we would get for Ware in trade?
Just curious...

The guy is smart and he did predict all your reactions
"A lot of Cowboys fans are probably angrily shocked at such a statement"
Now i am not saying this is a good or bad idea..an idea that can be done or not...but you all need to take off your fan glasses and look at the overall benefit of the Dallas Cowboys....
Haven't you learn anything from the 89' trade?

I actually don't think this is that bad of an idea. I mean does it really hurt just to listen to offers? Just cause you listen doesn't mean you have to commit

If we had a front office I could trust, I wouldn't mind a trade.
All the angst and outrage that we could actually consider this is funny. We have fans that care more about a player then the team. No one player is more important than the franchise.

I've been on board the trade Ware wagon all season. But like others have said if the cap hit is going to be too big.. then hey. I'm no expert on that.
Do what ever is best for the team.

I agree with you. If we get 2 first rounds, this year below 15, I would make this trade. We are in rebuilding mode, lots of help with extra first round picks. When we don't make playoffs this year and next year, lot of fans will come around but it we wouldn't get much value for any of our stars then. Also our Front office is making much better picks in the top 2 rounds recently...

That must be so sad for you, believing that. Good luck with it.

If the Cowboys were to re-sign both players, it would give Dallas the liberty to possibly trade All-Pro pass-rusher DeMarcus Ware for help in several needy areas, such as the offensive line, defensive end and inside linebacker.
A lot of Cowboys fans are probably angrily shocked at such a statement, but those who have been fans since the Jimmy Johnson era already know exactly where I’m headed with this.
[View Full Quote]When Johnson was hired as the Cowboys’ head coach in 1989, he traded All-Pro running Herschel Walker to the Minnesota Vikings for five players and eight draft picks. This resulted in Dallas acquiring players like Emmitt Smith, Alvin Harper, Darren Woodson and Russell Maryland, who were very instrumental to three Super Bowl wins by Dallas in the early-to-mid-1900s. A player of Ware’s caliber could do the same for the present-day Cowboys.

I'm all for trading Ware this offseason.
Look at what the Texans are doing without Mario Williams, and they didn't even get anything for him.
We can't get ransom b/c of his age, but we can get a pretty penny for him.

I don't think any player on any team is beyond trading. You never know how desperate another team may be to get the guy they want. Teams will mortgage their souls down the road to get to the superbowl quickly. Look at the deals our stupid owner has made. Owners can get fans dreaming and running with blinders on bringing in what the same fans might believe is the savior of the franchise. Lord only knows what Denver would have gave for Payton Manning if it would of come down to it. I love my house, but if some knucklehead came up and offered me a certain ammount for it, I would move tomorrow. Now I don't think that we could get anything crazy for Ware at this point in his career, but would you take 3 darn good offensive lineman in a straight up trade? At this point I would. If Romo could sit in the pocket without having to run around, I would say come on and try to outscore us if you can. Just sayin.
