Norv has been available to come back here several times since the old glory days. Its not going to happen.

neither are the old glory days.

we can only hope to get another head coach with the fire that jimmy had.

it's over...done with.

jimmy johnson was the enforcer of our glory days in the 90's.

doug free would have cleaned his locker out at halftime.

Too bad for Norv they dumped Drew Brees. Unlike Garrett, who can't get the team going until the 2nd half of the game, Norv couldn't get the Chargers going until the 2nd half of the season.

Norv would be ideal as offensive coordinator but that's not going to happen unfortunately....

I would be ok with him here but I think Andy Reid would be a better influence but that ain't happening either.
Did you know there are only 5000 Snow Leopards in the wild now and they are confined to Central Asia? However, the effective global population (those likely to reproduce) is less than half that number.

Nope. Garrett is a lock for another season regardless how we finish.

That's a done deal but I was talking about either as OC. I'd love to see more horizontal offense but Garrett is showing us more anyway so.....

Apparently you're wrong. Apparently Garrett is changing the culture around here. Apparently we're heading in the right direction. Apparently we're blind to these positive things that are happening in the background.

Record: 2-3 as of 10/15/2012 | Prediction: 7-9 | Final: 8-8 with a Romo choke

I know I bag on Jerry a lot, he's kind of a scape goat whether or not he deserves it can be argued. But I would like for him to hire Norv and tell Garret that Norv will be the offensive coordinator and develop the weekly offensive gameplay and call the plays so Garret can just concentrate on game management. If Jerry is going to be a meddling owner/gm let's hope he meddles in the right kind of way for once.

Why is he a lock for another season when the team will finish 6-10?

Doesn't Garrett get to choose his assistants? If Jerry wanted Turner so bad that he would have to tell Garrett who his OC will be, he should just take it one step further and just make Turner the HC. He takes so much power away from the HC that the one thing he should at least let the HC control is his own staff.

You think that is a safe bet?

No kidding, how would you be privy to anything that goes on behind the scenes? lol I like how people speak like they are actually on the team.
