Can I ask what domain the email is from? Or if the reply to address is a different domain?

I've had to address a bunch of this type of spam this last week and am curious. (I work for a company that provides email.)

Well I just spent twenty minutes trying and I broke a blood vessel. I must be doing it wrong.

Spammers make my blood boil like nothing else. I was a moderator at a site and they crank out Winrumer spambots like a hive of retarded fire ants. That and South Asian human spammers working for pennies...it's comical in their forum profiles they a$$ume all Americans are beautiful 20-something in Hollywood or Brits living in London's Chelsea district. And their names are more Anglo-Saxon than the British Royal Family.

I've heard no thanks to the internet that duping just one sucker out of a million is enough to make money, but I'm still skeptical....at times it seems more like trolling/harassing than spamming. Spammers typically register up to the point of confirming the email, then wait for that until sometime after midnight in hopes the spam post is out there an hour to get Googled.

Dealing with it? When in doubt, swipe and right-click to let Google/Bing/Yahoo bring up sites that may revel spam/scam. Get the add-on at www.MyWOT.com so you get alerts on sites that may be questionable.

Some folk levacuate, some merely observe...

If you tell me what type of blood vessel you broke, I'll happily send you a new one... was it a pint-size vessel, quart-size or gallon-size??

Thats better than the text messaging spam I have been getting. It is one thing to get it in email, but text on your cell phone?

Last week I got one from some gal named Alexis. Said she hadn't seen me in awhile and go to her webpage and look at her new profile and such. Well, suffice to say, the wife was not real happy
