I think one world title would be enough for the Angels fans to be happy with this move.

We'll settle this with a good dust up.

Judging by his press conference, looks like Hamilton really hated it here. I bet he was plotting to get out since July

They held his hand long enough..if he didn't want to be with the Rangers anymore fine.

Now he can pay a few million extra in taxes & they can worry about keeping him sober & right.

It's not like there won't be teams who will have spent a ton and failed to win 1 over the next few years.

Winning a championship is what they made all those moves for but I don't think you can say they have to win more than that or else it's a failure.

5 years from now I'm sure all involved will gladly take a single championship with the moves they have made as opposed to no championship and half the moves.

Josh and his wife are angry at the Rangers because they didn't just throw the bank at them immediately?

Josh just can't see his own warts.

I wonder how Josh is going to handle all the clubs, drugs, drinking, celebrities and everything else that he will have on his plate out in LA. If he is going into trouble in Dallas and Arizona, I can only imagine the trouble he will find in LA.

He basically got booed out of town with the way he played in the second half of the season.

...and I wonder if he chose the Angels to get back at the fans?
  • If Josh plays consistently for the Angels, people will ask why didn't he straighten up here first?
  • if Josh is still hot/cold, fans will conclude we dumped a problem on to a divisional rival.

Personally, I wish Josh's performance was more even and he were still here.

Well I think it sucks that he signed with the Angels.
You can't spell bias without BS.

I suspect he will play great for the Angels at least for the first season. A change will be good for him. His problem is he thinks that everyone owes him and is insulted when people question him even though he always gives people reason to do it.

Good thing he didn't sign in NY or Boston. If he thinks the Rangers fans lashed out at him for no reason, they would obliterate him.

Damn shame. I'm sad that he's not a Ranger anymore.

I know many aren't, and that's fine, but I definately am.

You always hate to lose some an immense talent. Though, his attitude and lackadaisical play would definitely rub you the wrong way sometimes.

He is as good as he thinks he is, but his problem is he doesn't believe he has any warts. He has some pretty bad ones which is why he didn't get a $250M contract just like Albert got who is OLDER than he is.

Glad he signed with the Angels so we could see Moreno waste even more money.

Josh is the most gifted player in the game but also one of the weakest mentally individuals ever born.

The Angels can continue to spend big and lose.
