The Patriots are done. They haven't been legit since they were winning Super Bowls with a dominant defense and a grind-it-out offense. Now they are a mediocre defense with a finesse offense.

I agree. New England has not been that great this year. They are good but not great.

One of those weird games. If they meet again, I doubt it would be so lopsided.

Since spygate they have been exposed. I hate when teams play prevent defense.

We went 3-1 against the AFC, but should have been 4-0, the Baltimore game.

There's a reason why they lost those Super Bowls. Finesse offense gets exposed by physical football. When they won their first three Super Bowls, they would wear out opposing teams but the post-Spygate Pats have been the teams that end up getting worn down themselves. They are built for the regular season

If they were so "exposed" how did they get to a place 30 other teams couldn't?

Holding my breath on contract talks. Hopefully we can get something done.

They were knocked out in the 1st round two straight years...then in 2011 they lucked into playing a Tebow-gimmick Broncos team and narrowly escaped the Ravens by way of a Lee Evans dropped TD. And it's not even like the Ravens are all-world either

and it had nothing to do with a miraculous play by Eli avoiding the rush and then Tyree catching the ball one handed on his helmet.....and in the 2nd, Welker dropped a pass he normally catches and the Giants were faking injuries to waste time.

That list is obviously bogus without Spears on there.....I mean he had a huge sack against the first ballot HOFer in DeCastro.....that list is trash.

I might be adding them to my list of not-quite-so-feared teams along with the Steelers (read: overated.) Note: they are still doing good.

Every elite team this season has laid an egg at least once, but if there is one team I'd name as most dangerous - it's the 49ers.

Tonight they are definitely dangerous.
