media would having a field day, it'd be a total circus. But Ben's allowed to apologize and claim that it's just his emotions getting the better of him and that's that. NO talk of disfunction on the team or chaos in the lockerroom.

Nope. Perfect example, Phillip Rivers. The guy has been AWFUL for two seasons now. Not a peep and the blame goes to Norv like it's somehow his fault.

I went to a Chase bank to get new checks and a debit card yesterday here in San Diego. The guy helping us saw my hat and said 'nice, a Cowboys fan'. So, I had to ask him if he was a fan too. He replied yes and went right into how Romo sucks and never wins.
Usually, I stop right there and don't get into a conversation, but I had too this time so I dove right in. After about 2 mins of me telling him how the Cowboys would have about 3 wins w/o Tony, I asked him if he has watched them play this year. His answer--"No, I have not watched a game since 2010".
Wow, how can some actually have an opinion of his play who hasn't even seen him play in two years? My guess is the media's perception and I don't think he has even watched more than 5 games in his life.
I was infuriated at this point and my wife knew it, she was pinching me under the table trying to get me to shut-up, heh

While on the other hand, Mark Sanchez threw 5 picks and lost his job. In fact, his career as a Jet is over.

Well Sanchez just sucks. Drew Brees is a high profile QB.

Yep, that's why Brees gets a pass.

I find that most analysts who actually played the position and understands QB play best are generally supportive of Romo. Phil Simms, Steve Young, Trent Dilfer come to mind. The most intelligent players were generally QB's. Joe Theismann is an exception.
Once you get to other analysts however is when the idiocy begins. Marshall Faulk, Keyshawn Johnson, Warren Sapp and many others make up this group. You don't see very many non-QB's supportive of him. Micheal Irvin is, but he's a blatant Cowboys homer so I don't count him.
For whatever reason, most of these clowns would rather have all their wisdom teeth yanked without an anesthetic than to give any props to Romo. That carries through to the fanbase, as the earlier poster showed.
It is hard to take sometimes. I generally can't watch NFL Network or ESPN anymore. I turn on the TV when the game starts.

They are stuck with Sanchez in fact the Jets are Royaly screwed if they cut Sanchez they take a 17 million cap hit they can not afford if they had not extended him only a 2.5 million. The Jets will have to keep him around maybe as a backup most likely one more year they guaranteed him 20.5million on the extension
The Jets GM should be fired as soon as the season ends.

ESPN has an agenda where the Cowboys/Romo are concerned and the network sticks to it no matter what...

I let people have it when I hear:
1) "Dallas is one of the most talented teams in the league"
2) "Romo chokes in the big games" or "in December" or "in crunch time"
Stupidity from the media, and when asked for particulars, they can only mention maybe 5 top players and only remember the Seattle playoff game or maybe some other game they vaguely recall.

It was like that even in the 90s....3 Super Bowls weren't enough to get the respect of ESPN.
