In other news, the Rockets are putting together an impressive run. They are currently leading the league in scoring, but also lead in turnovers and are next to last on defense. They are also terrible against the West, compiling a 5-10 record so far. If only they were in the East where they currently have an 11-2 record.
We should be getting back into the playoffs this year. I swear, if we finish in 9th place again I'll just have to wait to see how the team plans to rebuild once again in the offseason.

Yea they finally after decades have assembled probably the deepest team in the NBA by far. They play to each others strengths. Last year I made a nice chunk off the Heat. I gotta place my money on a team before Jan 1. I might go with Clippers. Refs love em too. Refs love those Thunder too tho, lol.

Because of a good regular season record?
C'mon they're playing well, but outside of the Celtics who exactly have they beat during this winning streak. We've seen so many teams look good during the regular season and then get exposed in the playoffs. I'm not solid on them. All that depth is nice for the regular season, but in the playoffs rotations shorten and it means much less.

I know one thing, the Clippers have a better squad than the Lakers.
I've always thought the whole idea that "depth is bad for the playoffs" is a load of BS.

Clippers got it all. Every postition is deep. Heck Id love to have Eric Bledsoe as a starter next year and hes the backup.lol.I never liked Pauls baby attitude but hes the best PG in the NBA. I will say this they deserve some accolades finally after being in the Lakers shadows for 10000 years lol.

Lakers are done. Luck for them if they make the playoffs. The Clippers have taken over LA. That town belongs to Chris Paul and his team right now.

I hope it's time for the lakers to go through their dark ages, when Kobe retires, with the new cap rules, they might have a hard time getting back to being title contenders
