Majority of Skins fans nervous and scared about the game (quotes from their board)

I do fear that Dallas will expose our weaknesses and I do fear that maybe RG3 isn't QUITE ready for this stage, especially with a gimpy leg. I'm not sure who covers Dez Bryant or Witten and Romo's scrambling concerns me...our secondary breaks down quickly when a QB buys time. I am nervous about all of those things. But those are all simply legitimate football-related concerns. I think if we lose it will be because Dallas outplays us, not because we self destruct or show up unprepared.

I am terribly nervous about the game. I just dont feel we have the horses to outrace them at this point with little resistance to throw in their way.

I haven't been this nervous for a football game in years.

Nervous isn't the word. I'm terrified because I want this so so bad. I'd give anything for the Vikes and Bears to lay giant eggs on Sunday

I'm particularly nervous about Dallas mounting a big comeback in the fourth quarter (like they've done all season). A win on Sunday would be transcendent, but a loss will be devastating.

Sunday has me scared to death.

A few of their fans diverge:

the cowboys are 8-7, their running game is suspect, and their defense is decimated with injuries. all they have is romo and bryant. how would you feel if ur whole team relied on those 2 players? they dont scare me.

As long as we have RG3, Morris, and the Cobra, anything is possible. Romo will choke from the noise of the crowd

I'm so confident in this squad. Relax, We are going to be the brakes off these clowns.

I hate this Cowboys team but I do not fear them.

These are not Tom Landry’s Cowboys that haunted our childhood dreams in the 1970’s and very early 1980’s.

This is not Roger Staubach under center wiping away a 17 point lead and throwing two touchdowns in the last 140 seconds to leave the Redskins home in 1979. This is not Harvey Martin throwing a funeral wreath in the Redskins locker room after that game.

These are not Jimmy Johnson’s “How ‘bout them Cowboys” fromthe 1990’s who were so loaded that you didn’t so much fear them as much asaccepted that the outcome of a game with them was a foregone conclusion. A team so loaded with weapons had it not been for Jerry Jones’ colossal ego,the Cowboys should have two more Lombardi’s in their case.

Really? Let Jaws talk about how Romo shredded the Redskins on Thanksgiving Day just falling short of a victory. Never mind that the Cowboys were down 28-3 and Romo’s bloated stats came from a team playing catch up against a “prevent” and “protect”defense designed to preserve a win in a game that never really had legitimate chance to win. Yeah, I guess sometimes I hate the press, but I certainly do not fear them.

Let them babble on about how this is legacy defining game for Tony Romo. A game that will define his career. I’m sorry,did I pull a Buck Rogers and wake up a few years late? Didn’t he already have some of these so called legacy defining games? As I recall, he has lost all of them but one. I think we know and if the Cowboys do not know,they are delusional, what they have in Tony Romo. His time in the NFC East is past while in Washington, the future is now and it wears number 10.

Again, to you Loyal Sons of Washington, I say, I hate the Cowboys but I do not fear them.

The Cowboys have shown this year to suggest that they are likely to win in Washington.

They have already lost to them once, they are even more banged up than they were in their first meeting on turkey day, their best pass rusher is going to limited, and their recent history of awful endings in this scenario against the entire NFC East just doesn't point to a win ... which means, of course, that the Cowboys will win.

I know it's hard to believe since I'm such a die hard Dallas Cowboys fan, but I am not nervous about this game at all. I didn't think we would be in this position in the first place so anything that comes from here on out is a bonus for me. Of course I hope like hell that we win and I'm sure that I'll get that same old feeling of anxiousness when the game starts.

With that being said, I absolutely love the fact that those people are so nervous about the game. That sorry excuse for a franchise has been entrenched in the very bowels of the league for the past 10 years. After their coach had all but given up on the season after they fell to 3-6, they have sat on a horseshoe, overachieved and won six straight and have gotten their hopes up so high. Aside from putting us in the tournament, putting their pipe dreams to an abrupt end would be oh so sweet.

I want it to be a long and cold winter for those people and every time they think back on this game and season, I want them to think about us, the Dallas Cowboys.

You're forgetting the last time these two teams met with the playoffs on the line (3rd to last week of the season) in 2005. Granted, only a handful of players from each team is left, but still.

Yeah we have been at the bowels for most of the later 90s and almost all of the 2000's...that's why Sunday will be SWEET if we pull this off.

If not, at least we have a QB to build around the next several years.

At New York was impressive. I thought you were lucky to squeak by Cincy. The Pittsburgh game was a great hard-fought game and fun to watch even though I hate that you won. Carr made a hell of a play on the interception in OT.

No, I'm fully aware what happened way back then. Overall, it really didn't change anything.
