Romo didn't have cracked ribs just a cracked brain from all those stupid INT's. Please no more excuses for this guy.

So whats your solution for next year? I see you complain about the Oline but have yet to see any constructive criticism. The Oline did not play that badly, this was all on Romo. The redskins blitzed more people than could be blocked and as usual Garret never ran the ball. Dallas can easily fix this Oline next season by drafting Chance Warmack in the first round, picking up Slauson in FA, moving Bernadeau to center, and starting Parnell at RT. Like the CB position this year, the oline will be addressed.

Well, there was a difference. In the SF game you could see he was still playing well....and no one knew about the punctured lung until later after the game.
Last night, we as fans did not know about it, but you know the team had too. And it was very obvious it DID affect his game last night.

Sadly, it appears our GM might be one of those people.

If Orton had gone in and produced the same result, people would be on here complaining that Romo should've manned up and played anyway.

Exactly. The guy had a bad night. Period. We wouldn't have even been in position to compete for the division title without his high level of play over most of the season. It was a crappy loss. Romo didn't play well. No excuses regardless of his taking a beating. He is tough, but he wasn't able to pull off ANOTHER clutch, 4th quarter comeback. As always, we have much bigger issues than QB.
"I just always feel that he's going to find a way to win the game…He has evolved into a great, great leader of the team...He is the total package." Roger Staubach about Tony Romo
"They're a talented group with a great quarterback, and they're well on their way." Troy Aikman on the Cowboys and Tony Romo
But what do Roger and Troy know about great quarterbacking, talent, leadership, and winning anyway?

Hurt players playing hurt DO NOT help this team.

Okay Ed! Football 101... if you can play through it, especially in a crucial game, you suck it up. I guess Dez should have hung em up too after breaking (fracturing) his finger.

The cracked ribs definitely crossed my mind after he took that pretty vicious shot there in the 2nd quarter. I think I even speculated on it on the Gameday Thread right when it happen due to the pretty noticeable wincing. Figured there would have been some reporting on it after halftime though.

You're completely ignorant if you think the OL wasn't a problem yesterday.

The Oline was not perfect and they gave up alot of pressure up the middle, but Romo was the main reason this team lost yesterday. Just because the Oline gave up some plays and the Dline could not stop the run does not mean Romo is absolved of his poor play.
