I'd also love to see this game flipped. Cowboys win. Romo has those numbers. I wonder how much Romo would be credited for that win.
Tony Romo has to play like a Peyton Manning/Drew Brees hybrid every week to win. Griffin can stink up the joint with numbers that make Rex Grossman chuckle and still get the win.
There's your difference. Supporting cast.

We even have a decent supporting cast of skill players. They just have nowhere to run. The pass blocking though, just exceptional!

The thing is, Griffin doesn't even have to be put in a position to choke.

It should be pointed out that Dallas faced the 5th most difficult schedule (combined record of our opponents this season: 134-122, .523 winning %), while Indy played the 3rd weakest schedule (113-143, .441 winning %).

The only reason RG3 only threw 18 times was b/c Dallas could'nt stop the running game at all.Why start passing the ball when the running game is working to perfection? RG3 did'nt have a bad game at all!! Dallas could'nt stop the run which means he did'nt have to pass.He had a great game thanksgiving day passing the ball with Morris's great running attack so it shows everybody this team can succeed by running the ball with morris or passing the ball with RG3 and his running ability also makes a huge impact on a game..

RG3 did make some pretty poor throws that game. Didn't get picked obviously but easily could have been.

Yea you have somewhat of a point but in those 18 pass attempts RGIII didn't look very good IMO. He made some terrible throws.

WTH did RG III do in that game? It was Morris and their defense. Romo had a bad game, but was a huge reason why we were even in position to win the division in week 17. The guy played like Superman for like 8 straight games to get us to that spot but, like every QB, he's human. Unfortunately, this team was not good enough to overcome a rough outing by their savior. It'd be nice to see us not get outcoached once in a while too. I'm not talking about Ryan, because he was holding this thing together with scotch tape. We get outcoached almost every first half. We almost always rely on throwing out the gameplan and having Romo perform some heroics in the second half. He did that so well, so often this year that we came to expect it. Imagine if WE actually outcoached a team and didn't rely on a Herculean performace by our QB every time? Romo played poorly, but Garrett doesn't do him any favors. Romo again finished with a QB rating over 90 (he has never finished a season with lower than 90) and had multiple huge, clutch performances this season. Most people will remember that last game, but those who understand the game know that he is the reason we still had something to root for in week 17. Fix the trenches and get and OC and this team is a contender.
"I just always feel that he's going to find a way to win the game…He has evolved into a great, great leader of the team...He is the total package." Roger Staubach about Tony Romo
"They're a talented group with a great quarterback, and they're well on their way." Troy Aikman on the Cowboys and Tony Romo
But what do Roger and Troy know about great quarterbacking, talent, leadership, and winning anyway?

One turnover by RG3 and this is a different game. He protected the ball and was able to move the team when needed. Romo on the other hand lost the game, killed any momentum the Cowboys could have had in the first quarter and threw one of the worst INT's late in a game that anyone has seen.

You're right. But I think there have only been a handful of games in his career where Tony could win in that way. On this team, with a radically inconsistent defense and an even more inconsistent run game, he HAS to win games.
He never has those opportunities to just "not lose".
