so it was back spasms then? sweet......

Oh, I know all about them....you move slightly wrong or even cough or sneeze too hard and boom, back spasms all day long. It hurts to walk, talk, sit, lay down, and breath.....but in a day or so, they tend to subside.

He left the stadium in a wheel chair, but should be fine.

Back spasms.

I read this morning that he had spent the night in the hospital.

Don't play dumb with me, I'm better at it than you are.

^Yep. There is an article somewhere saying he had to leave FedEx in a wheel chair. They put him in first class on the trip home so he had room. And when the team arrived in Dallas he went to the hospital.

Next to kidney stones, back spasms were the worst pain I've had. Uncontrollable and tend to subside in 24-48 hours.

Mine happened when I was planting flowers of all things. Move a certain way and your muscles will disagree with you vehemently.

Can I tell you why this is NOT good news?

Because I have never seen anyone with a back so bad they can't walk ever trouble-free. I'd rather he have kidney stones or a deep bruise. Ask Charles Haley about back issues.

Dammit, I could have gone all week without hearing this...

Jeeeez... I would challenge this as being the most injury riddled team, not just this year but ever - on any team, in any year... WOW!!

The number of injuries this year is just very uncommon... I've never been able to NOT list the entire roster at the end of the season...

I hope you're right but it's not just spinal - you strain your lower back badly and it is almost always prone afterwards. Not sure why, but I know "chronic lower back pain" wasn't coined randomly. Believe me, I want you to be right, because I will take 12 more seasons of what Dez gave us in the second half of the last one...

He'll be ok... Get the surgery on the finger and get some back treatments and get into the playbook to improve your route running Dez aka the new #88!
