Lower expectations in Arizona and a smaller market.

True, he would probably get a longer leash in Arizona. His reputation would buy him extra time to make it work in a franchise used to losing. But San Diego isn't that far off from that, and they have better pieces to probably get a championship. (i.e. QB)

I had no idea Jeffery Lurie and the eagles gave Andy Reid a going away party lol

Reid's wife has family in Phoenix so I bet that played a role in the decision.

Andy Reid close to Chiefs deal

The Kansas City Chiefs are on the verge of a deal to make Andy Reid their next head coach, according to league sources.

There still are minor details to work out but after nine hours of meetings Wednesday, one source involved in the talks said "the major issues have been discussed and agreed upon."

One source close to Reid said this morning, "This is going to happen fast."

We'll settle this with a good dust up.

Default Meh....

....I think he made the right choice: the Cardinals are just like the Lions...same dysfuctional "family" ownership plan. (sound familiar?)

You'd be amazed what Andy could do with Matt Cassel. Who knows him and Tom Eckert might even get Kolb if he's released in Arizona.

One thing Andy can do is get good QB play. Vick was made of glass, he's hopeless, so I doubt it's him. I'm sure they will look to the draft as well.
