OC is likely.

I can't see them dumping Ryan unless there was something going on behind the scenes.

Austin is history.
I wouldn't be surprised if JJ hired a "consultant". I think an OC could be likely as well.

2010 6-10, 2011 8-8, 2012 8-8.

Is there a GM anywhere in the league that still has a job after a 3 year run like that? Jerry can make all the "changes" he wants. This is like changing the band aid on a severed limb and wondering why the new band aid does not stop the bleeding.

Now the master is learning from the student. Snyder is famous for pulling the fans back in just when he sensed interest, relevance and sales were going to slip. Since Jerry has no Joe Gibbs to pull out, I would guess the word "consultant" is about to emerge. Just think of a consultant/advisor name that would get all you folks back to the Cowboy store to buy a new jersey or cap. Holmgren, Jimmy, Tuna....

Garrett going nowhere. Ryan going nowhere. Romo going nowhere. Whatever the move, it will qualify as window dressing.

The real solution I root for but know won't happen if for a shift of $$ on the team going towards positions closer to the ball. DTs, DEs, OTs, OGs and Cs.

For once I honestly believe Jerry jones will make some significant changes. Jerry makes bone head moves but he can not stand this team being 8-8 two seasons in a row. Something big will happen I can feel it

I had been under the impression that JG was "safe." Do you really think this might not be the case?

As long as it's not a bone headed/in the moment move like getting Rid of Romo....I'll be happy.

The only guys who should be guarnteed a job next year is

Witten, Carter, Lee, Dez, Romo, Carr, Claiborne And Murray.

At one point JJ was thinking of bringing in D Reeves, but they couldn't agree on the final numbers if I remember correctly.

So I wouldn't be surprised if JJ actually does hire a consultant this time around.

I guess one question is what the consultant could actually add to the equation? Unless the consultant is the de-facto GM, which I would doubt.

Jerry is going to buy this board. Then shut it down. Bye guys!

That is the only logical move.

He would be a fool to.dump Ryan. He made chicken salad out of chicken crap the best he could given the injuries. Garrett should go and we need to try and trade guys like felix, miles and for whatever he is worth Romo. We need to build around the young talent than around the aging vets. Let's look to the future.
