Speaking of future DEs, did anyone else see Mario Edwards, Jr. for the Seminoles tonight?

He's a true freshman with the size to be a 5 tech whenever he leaves.

His dad was part of the infamous CB draft in 2000 that also netted Dwayne Goodrich and Kareem Larrimore.

Just someone to watch in the future.

Yeah but if he is that great any team will use him 4-3, 3-4. The draft picks are cheap to sign you don't pass up a guy who will be on Ware's level.

I can't help but think "this guy is Demarcus Ware if Ware had a mean streak".

He's a beast and I'd love for him to be a Cowboy in '14.

Keep dreaming people. As much as I'd love it, Clowney is not going to be a Dallas Cowboy. He'll be a top 3 pick in next April's draft, with a good chance of being #1 overall, depending on who's drafting. And, no awful team is going to trade their first pick next year to us to move up a little bit in this year's draft. I'm sorry to take the wind out of your sales, but it's not happening.

I was surprised, too.

But when you hear Mario Edwards, Jr. (6-4, 290) and he's a Seminole, it's pretty obvious.

Rio just turned 37 in December and Jr. was born in 1994, so dad was 19 years old.

Jr. was the premiere DE recruit in 2012, too.
