Emmitt in my book was just as good as Barry, maybe not as exciting but he had many many long unbelievable runs. The guy was money...

I was going to say, that stat actually makes me more impressed with Emmitt.

Emmitt had such incredible durability, if AD is behind him now I doubt there's any chance he catches him.

He forgot to post 1 tiny detail, at the same point in their careers, Emmitt was 3 years younger. He was 20 when he was drafted, AP was 23.

Ok so explain how AP is physically superrior to Emmitt. AP has already blown out 1 knee and had other injuries as well.

Age is as at least as important as number of seasons.

And Chris Johnson is 136 yards ahead of Peterson's pace after 5 seasons.
He won't catch Emmitt either.

Whicih proves??????

This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

Its amazing how everyone wants to knock Emmitt, but yet no one has done what he has done. People talk about Barry, but Barry quit on his team. yeah Barry was more flashy, but Emmitt won championships.

Agreed, AP is remarkable
