Oh give me a break with this bull****.

First he's definitely not better than Emmitt. Let's get that straight right now. Before this season Peterson had one season where he rushed for over 1500 yards in his first 6 seasons. Emmitt had done that 3 times by that time.
Second during that football life episode Emmitt came across as a guy defending himself for the 10,000 time about breaking Payton's record while Barry quit. What the hell is wrong with what Emmitt said on that episode? I'll tell you nothing. What I had a problem with is crybaby Lomas Brown(we all know his character these days), Herman Moore and Thurman 'loser, I can't find my helmet' Thomas. They all came across as bitter. Especially Brown when he said 'you wouldn't hear anything about Emmitt if Barry hadn't retired' Really Lomas, Emmitt was a champion, 4 time rushing titlist by time Barry retired so I think we would STILL know who Emmitt is. Emmitt was defending himself AGAIN over the stupidity of having to 'apologize' for breaking a record.

They also don't run players like that anymore but AP takes too much of a beating to sniff the record.

I guess you missed the 1993 season and where has Peterson carried the Vikings to? Oh wow the wild card round of the playoffs, how exciting.

I swear,

Some of you just turn in your damn Cowboys cards.

Not even close to deserving them.

yeah, yeah AP... Blah blah

LT was "supposed" to catch the BEST RB IN THE NFL EVER in Emmitt Smith, as well.

Gimme a break.

Yea that '93 roster wasn't near as lethal as the '12 Vikings roster. I feel so bad that Emmitt only had Aikman, Irvin, Harper, Novachek, that amazing O-line, Haley, Lett, etc vs Peterson who has better players in Ponder, the amazing Jerome Simpson, the future HOF Michael Jenkins, the pound for pound greatest CB in the world EVER - A.J. Jefferson

Eventually it will happen I supposed but its going to be way down the road. Nobody in the league now will do it.

Yeah that 93 roster was missing one VERY IMPORTANT PIECE. They were so good they started out 0-2 without Emmitt. Once Emmitt appeared oh guess what they started winning games. They also wouldn't have won the final game of the regular season that year against the Giants without Emmitt. Again I say you must have (more like did) miss the 93 season.
