Root for the Skins?


This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

I would want to the Redskins to win if they were playing the Giants. But I am very happy that the Giants are not in the playoffs.

The only merit to having the Superbowl owned by the NFCE consistently is the recognition that this is the toughest division out there.

the only time i would root for the Skins if they were playing the 9ers, Steelers, and as of late the Giants, so with that said, no im not rooting for them.

I'm certain I'm more die hard than 95% of this board. I don't like the skins but I don't hate them. I hate Jerry the GM more than I hate the skins. So if it's going to take them being successful for him to finally wake up from his brain dead coma then so be it, GO SKINS!

*sidenote: how are you going to question my passion when i'm a fan who has seen ZERO success from my franchise? the younger fans should be applauded for sticking thru the ringer with this team. we haven't seen championships like a lot of you.

No we don't. We have to root for you to get buried. This isn't college football where you "root for your conference when your out." This is cut throat pure genuine hate and that is a great thing for sports.

No. Those things are not related. Back then we had Jimmy Johnson building this team with a bonanza of picks from the Herschel Walker trade. I'll probably just watch this game without rooting for either team because I hate the Seachickens. As a Cowboy fan since the 70s, the one and ONLY time you ever root for the Redskins is if a Skins win helps the Cowboys get into the playoffs.

Skins could be playing SF or GB in NFC title game, and I would pull for the other team.

Skins could be playing Pittsburg in the SB, and I'd give up football entirely before ever rooting for the Skins.

Must be the new generation of fans because I'd pull for a team comprised of rapists and murderers before I'd want to see the freakin' Skins win anything...PERIOD !
