Don't leave out Romo!
You are not a real Cowboy fan if you don't include him!
Get with the program!

I'll throw in a Costa and up the ante with a Doug Free.

I like the Carlton Mitchell and Cameron Sheffield signings - both players have a good deal of upside (Sheffield is from Troy U, like another OLB we all know and love), and represent good additions. Underwood has some talent, but a bit sketchy on the character side. No risk on his signing.
Only concern with Sheffield is that he had a neck issue with Kansas City a couple of years ago.

I would love it if there was a JerryZone and all Jerry related posts were required to be posted there.

Aug 12 2012 - OLB Cameron Sheffield has stepped forward in the past week and displayed a real burst on the pass rush off the edge. The Chiefs may have a logjam on the outside with starters Tamba Hali and Justin Houston ahead of Sheffield and Andy Studebaker. A fifth-round selection in the 2010 draft, Sheffield missed his rookie season and last year saw playing time almost exclusively on special teams. When Houston established himself at mid-season, Sheffield's defensive time ended up with 18 snaps in the last 13 games. Coming out of Troy, Sheffield has made the transition from college defensive end to an outside linebacker role.

I know this is sarcasm, but it's actually a great idea. It would be one of the most popular zones on here.

I'm not joking. It would clean up all the thread in the FanZone.

But, but I thought Andre Holmes was a future star?

1. Brandon Magee will beat out Ernie Sims for the backup WILL/MO roster spot.
2. Ron Leary will start at right guard over Bernadeau.
3. Joseph Randle, Terrance Williams and Gavin Escobar will have more combined TD's than DeMarco Murray, Miles Austin and Jason Witten.
4. Bruce Carter makes the Pro Bowl.
5. The starting OL will be Smith-Livings-Frederick-Leary-Free

Question...does any other football team (you have 31 to choose from) not mention high hopes for a player only to have that player fall short? Or is this just another hollow indictment of the team you purport to love?

It's mainly because Holmes had such a terrible training camp.
He didn't just fall short. They were way, way off with this guy.
