Default Eagles should go after Kyle Shanahan

With their 3 backs in McCoy, brown and lewis, they're set to become a ground team.

Macklin and Jackson are similar to the receivers in Washington.

Also it would weaken the Skins since Kyle knows their whole playbook.

Thoughts?

Its a nice story, but I think they would go for someone with a little more experience.

They could easily go from worst to first if he brought his schemes there. Several people picked them to win the East in preseason. The question would be how good of a head coach he can be when some of the players are older than him.

I really hope not. Then again, they'd also need to bring in a good defensive coordinator as well to maximize the talent they have.

I was actually hoping Jerry would consider him when he was still with Houston. He was way too young for anyone to seriously consider him as an option back then, though.

At 33, he's still very young and may benefit working under pops for another season or two. That or maybe taking on a HC position at the collegiate level for a couple of seasons...

I think he'll be good though.

If all goes well, Mike S. will finish out his 5 year contract and set up the franchise for Kyle. Redskins fans like that idea so far.

Yep, though there was talk of extending Mike before the Seattle game. That may be put on hold then given what happened with RGIII.

He also hasn't seemed averse to letting Kyle interview for HC jobs.
