Would love this move.

The lack of physicality is due to the lack of coaching.

Me, too.
When asked whether Jason Garrett is the right head coach for this team: "I don't think there is anyone else that could. I think he is an unbelievable coach. We've responded to him and he has made us better football players, better people. If you watch us I think we play with a certain relentless spirit." --Sean Lee

Horton would be a very good get.

I'm hoping he doesn't get a head coaching spot so he could come here.

I think Lovie Smith will end up somewhere as a head coach, but not Horton ... yet.

Just looked up Arizona's defensive stats. Horton ran a 3-4.

Sacks: T-11th (Dallas T-20th)
Interceptions: 2nd (Dallas T-31st)
Forced Fumbles: T-21st (Dallas T-17th)
Turnovers forced: 33 total for AZ (16 total for Dallas)

Takeaways: 4th (Dallas T-28th)

You forgot the stat that we had 4 starters for the majority of the year and even then they have a better Dline then ours.

Where did you get your info? NFL.com has them ranked 1st in both sacks and interceptions.

Horton would be an upgrade, IMO. Him or Lovie would make sense, but if you don't get one of those guys, you're getting just a guy or a retread.

Anyone know Dom Capers' contract situation? Horton would be okay too, but seems like he would always be a danger of leaving.

True, but the number that stands out to me are the takeaways. 4th in the NFL - that's coached.

I think we probably waited a week to make sure we had a guy in our back pocket. This is a plum DC position right now, so any qualified guy not in the HC hunt would consider it.

Gus Bradley, Seattle. Darkhorse in my opinion.

I love that defense.
