This all day.. We played a lot better zone with this guy coaching. Also what is the use of having all these man to man players if they are always playing 5-10 yards off the reciever.
Collin Klein in 2013 plz !!!!

As someone said earlier, it's what Houston did with Kubiak who was teetering on the brink and not getting results: similar to situation with Red and Dallas. Will it work? Probably not if history is an indicator, but.....it's the way I read what he's doing right now.

this is probably the most accurate take on everything.

Ryan was the better coordinator this year. He got the most out of the least in Dallas. If Ryan is sent packing, Garrett should be too. This is BS.

Seems the feelings are mutual everywhere. How do you fire these coaches but keep Garrett.
Im not saying Rob and Peete shouldnt have been fired, but if the message is the job wasnt good enough, i dont see how Garrett keeps his job. Cause he was just as bad if not worse

I remember when Zimmer was in Dallas people were crying to fire him. Now all of the sudden he's a good DC?

People were crying to fire him while he was a good DC. That's nothing new. See: Payton, Sean; and Garrett, Jason.
When asked whether Jason Garrett is the right head coach for this team: "I don't think there is anyone else that could. I think he is an unbelievable coach. We've responded to him and he has made us better football players, better people. If you watch us I think we play with a certain relentless spirit." --Sean Lee

Agreed most of this is window dressing. Core issues are lack of on-field leadership, lack of OC and deranged GM. Until those things are addressed...Dallas can bring in as many new coaches as they want...it won't result in any real changes. They are fooling nobody.

This thread will fall, unfortunately.
There are those who want to position the situation as though anyone in the media or NFL with knowledge or connections trusts Jerry and Jason, when this is clearly not universally the case. The backtracking on prior praise of Gosselin as one of the more connected and thoughtful outside voices will be amusing to watch.
