Do whatever it takes to get a dominant running game.

Dallas ranked 31st in rushing yards
SF ranked 4th in rushing yards

Dallas ranked 3rd in passing yards
SF ranked 23rd in passing yards

Dallas ranked 28th in Offensive Interceptions
SF ranked 2nd in Offensive Interceptions

Dallas Win-Loss 8-8
SF Win-Loss 11-4

Dallas ranked 3rd in Pass Attempts with 658.
SF ranked 31st in Pass Attempts with 436

Alex Smith - Average QB at best
Colin Kaepernick - 1st time starter (2nd year player)

Romo - Regardless of offensive system, he would have less opportunity for INTs with a better running game.

Wishbone would be nice.

Inverted Wishbone would be better.

A predominant 3 TE based offense with a FB and TB would be best.

More west coast . Methodical short crossing routes , smash mouth up the gut running ,Less shotgun more play action . Romo thrived under play action with Payton and Sparano . I'm sick to my gut seeing romo 2nd and 3 on the 5 yard line going shotgun . I'm done with that BS

The WR also MUST go forward, again sorry for the devastating news, and lastly, while there are many ways to score, all NFL scholars agree, the ball must pass the plane of the endzone. So with all this new and high tech science i just cranked out, any scheme that gets that pig skin past the plane of the end zone is fine with me.

I question who we are sticking with Air Coryell's system when it has limited success in the NFL.
Randy Moss could only run a few routes in the Patriots system. Chad Johnson could not grasp the Patriots system at all. Brandon Lloyd hasn't been a force in the system. If these receivers struggle in the system, what chances do you give the Cowboys receivers to learn it. If they can, I think it could be a good system.

The Coryelle offense works great if you have the personnel for it, including a dominant OL.
The four teams that ran it this year: the Bears, the Chargers, the Ravens and the Cowboys, were all accused of having poor OL, not running enough and they all lost coaching staff.

It's the scheme that is not fooling anyone, and no perfect offensive line is going to keep a QB safe while the WRs who were not open in the first route, run around the field like a pick-up football game in a park.

I like the WCO for Romo because he is fast enough with his release and he sees the openings on the field quickly pre and post snap.
It's a message board, that's what the topics are for.

What I don't understand...insistence...disdain...It's one thing to feel that way, and to say so. Why try to make other people agree with you....And why pretend...Disagree with me all you like...Don't start twisting mine or getting frustrated just because I don't want to eat the other half of that crap-sandwich you made for yourself...Because I don't happen to like crap sandwiches.

I'd like to see the Pats offense without the "welker" factor" ---he is the can-opener in that offense.

Fix the OL offense.

This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.
