I guess I am missing the part where we actually hired them.

Perhaps you can provide such a link.

Thanks.

Wouldn't that make Kiffin the head coach then?
Things are getting weirder by the minute.

Norv Turner's an excellent offensive coordinator. I don't love this possible move, but there's nothing funny about it. We'd be remiss if we didn't consider what it might look like to bring Norv here under Jason.
When asked whether Jason Garrett is the right head coach for this team: "I don't think there is anyone else that could. I think he is an unbelievable coach. We've responded to him and he has made us better football players, better people. If you watch us I think we play with a certain relentless spirit." --Sean Lee

Or what Norv might do for Romo.

It'd be a mistake. Jason Garrett's an offensive guy. He's your head coach. He clearly wants to run his own offense. Bringing in Norv to cut his authority is the owner micromanaging the team.

The issue isn't scheme. It isn't coordinating. It isn't play calling. It's talent.

You bring in Norv and now you've accomplished nothing but create another issue. A puppet head coach.

If you want to fire Garrett, bring in Lovie Smith as head coach and HE, not the Jones twins, decides he wants Norv Turner to run his offense, I would have no problem with it. But not this way. If you retain Garrett, he needs to retain the power to run his own offense. Otherwise this is a charade.

We'll settle this with a good dust up.

Norv is considered one of the best playcallers in all of football. It's mentioned quite a bit on 'Moving the Chains' on SiriusXM and I remember Belichick giving high praise to Norv's playcalling.

That's why he always finds a job in the NFL. He's very much like Wade in that regards, very good coordinator, keep him away from the HC gig.

That's the biggest thing I'd like to see from the possibility of Norv in Dallas, is what he could do with and for Tony. I get the feeling Norv's not all that interested in coming here, though. It'll be interesting to see what happens there.

Who gives a crap how old the COACH is?

They're COACHING, not PLAYING.

Get a freaking clue.
