He earned his contract. I don't care what anyone else says. He didn't get the respect he deserved last year from CZ, and he probably won't this year.

20% raise.

Did Ratliff earn his then for playing on the cheap for years prior? And Doug Free for holding down the left side pretty well before he got paid? What about Marion Barber for being a beast for a couple of years?

It's not just about whether the money was earned or not. We've got some real cap issues we need to figure out, and you can't just sign everyone that plays well and ignore everything else. You'll go broke.
We need wins, and that's all we need. I don't give a damn about anyone on this roster over wins. I'd trade Ware, Lee and Dez if it meant more wins.

Cap isn't going to be an issue.....

Anthony Spencer has played well for multiple years. He's been a constant on our defense.

spencer has been a constant but average constant that is getting up there in age

no long-term contract for spencer, IMO

Bills won't let Byrd get away my friend... If the Bears don't franchise Melton, he is who I would go after.. The guy thrives in a 4-3 defense... Let Spencer go & draft DE or OG in the 1st round. Have Ware/Wilber - Melton/Lissemore- Ratliff/Hatcher- 1st round pick maybe?/Crawford

NO to Rex Burkhead. He's just as injury-prone as Demarco Murray.

I know because my ex went to Nebraska and I've been watching that dude for the last 2 years.

Do you REALLY think Anthony Spencer was 'average' this year?
