Default Something struck me with Jerry's interview last week

Please forgive me if this has already been posted. No, I am not drinking yet. Jerry has referenced the Herschel Walker trade and all but implied that something 'big' was necessary. There have been references made to the Walker trade years back and how the Redskins traded away all their picks to get RGIII. My question/thinking is this. Tell me what you think.

Monte Kiffin looks to be the frontrunner for the DC and will probably mean a return to the 4-3. With that being said, there has been talk about Ware and if he could handle it.

Do you think Jones would dare and trade Ware for a mass collection of picks? I blew it off entirely but now thinking anything is possible.

Ware surgery today. Not ready for 5-7 months. No trade.

No...

There is no formula for success except an unconditional acceptance of life and what it brings.

With his surgery and recovery time I doubt it. But the only logical trade would be romo

Not a chance.

This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

While pass rushers don't grow on trees, QBs are the hardest things to find in the NFL, maybe in sports. Why is that the "logical trade?"

Romo is the only other big name that if traded would garner mutiple high picks.

This concept would only apply to basketball. See Dwight Howard. It's also a little bit of a stretch but I don't think it's that ridiculous

But could lead to literally years without any sort of QB play at all. Does everyone forget the Quincy/Hutch era?

Neither of them would garner multiple high picks, they're in their early 30s and past their prime.

This... It's not like we have Aaron Rodgers to trade.

The Raiders traded two 1st rounders for Carson Palmer. There's a ton of QB-needy teams who would give up plenty for Romo.

Not that I think we should trade him.

Al Davis passed away.

I'm not advocating trading Romo, but at best he would bring a single mid-late 1st rounder, imo. Maybe they'd throw in a 3rd rounder too.

Nobody in the Draft is a better QB than Romo in 2013.
