Chudzinski should have never been let go from the Browns in the first place.

They ranked 23rd and 30th in 2005 and 2006 in offensive efficiency according to Football Outsiders. The year he took over the offense (2007), then were ranked 10th. And that was with Derek freaking Andersen at QB.

Unfortunately, they fell back to 29th in 2008. But again...that was with Derek Andersen at QB.

The Panthers ranked 32nd in offensive effeciency the year before Chud took them over.

Then they went to 4th in his first year. Yeah, Cam Newton was a big difference...but, he was still a rookie QB with a dearth of talent around him.

This year?

They were still 10th in offensive efficiency.

This is a team that fired their GM mid-season when they realized how awful their talent pool. They had injuries to 2 starting O-Linemen, Jonathan Stewart and their best WR was a 33-year old Steve Smith.

Give the guy a semi-decent QB and he'll work wonders in Cleveland.

?

You're not kidding.

Why?

Garrett does not know how to call plays during games. He's always out coached.

Let me know 1 game where he whipped the oppositions DC?

You another one of those posters trying to become a moderator around here or what?

Cmon man, you want Garrett calling plays?

I think they will do fine with Weeden. JMO. They already have Trent Richardson. Norv will balance that offense out. That OL is very good.

A recipe for success.

I know Chud's family very well. I am friends with one of his cousins. That being said, after watching 'A Football Life' on the Browns season before they moved to Baltimore, it's hard to not pull for them and their fans.

When Belichick comes off far less creepy, you know what a low life Art Modell was.

Whether it is a good hire or not...Sadly it is the Browns and that team is just snake bit...has been for years.
