On one hand, I love that we are moving back to the 43. On the other, I really think Kiffin is too old for this. I understand he is a wealth of knowledge and I also am fully aware that Dick Lebeau is older, but have you actually heard Kiffin in an interview? Imagine that same guy trying to explain to a bunch of 20-somethings how to play the 4-3. I mean seriously...imagine you are in that room listening to this 70 year old slip into anectdote after anectdote and completely forgetting what he was talking about 30 seconds previously. I honestly cannot see how he is going to get the most out of these players. But here's hoping...

I say we still leave Garrett as OC so we can be stubbornly unadjusting on both sides of the ball and can get really slapped around good.
Then I can always bet on our opponents to cover their spreads.
Jerry can too and pay off the stadium sooner than we all thought.

I just hope they keep Eberflus (sp). IMO he might have been a good candidate for DC, himself.

So are we sure this is a Jerry move? Or is it only a Jerry move if this doesn't work out well?
Don't you dare flip-flop and credit Garrett if Kiffin works out well now. Remember: this was ALL Jerry according to most of you.

An interview is a little different than talking to football players.

If they would have brought in several candidates and Kiffin emerged as the best one, fine. But going out and hiring the only person that you interviewed too me is like a dog chasing it's tail.
Craig
Chicago thought they had a QB in Rex Grossman, Carolina had faith in Jake Delhomme. What does this have to do with the Dallas Cowboys? It just might mean that Tony Romo isn't what we thought and we may have to move forward without him.

Thread title is misleading
Just because Werder said it does NOT make it official.
It is probably true but it is NOT official until the team announces it
