Yes. Because the last person I want to talk to on a sports forum is a fan who judges on results.

Kiffin is a brilliant defensive mind, I am a little worried about his age but cannot really complain since I have been touting A return to the 4-3 for years now.

Go get'em coach ....... you have my full support and I expect great things.

You're gonna have to use larger font if you want Kiffin to read that.

Imagine that same guy trying to explain to a bunch of 20-somethings how to play the 4-3. I mean seriously...imagine you are in that room listening to this 70 year old slip into anectdote after anectdote and completely forgetting what he was talking about 30 seconds previously. I honestly cannot see how he is going to get the most out of these players. But here's hoping...
What a horrible point of view you are trying to make. He was in his 60s in Tampa and was talking to 20 year olds. Who cares how the guy talks in interviews. The important thing is the players learn his schemes, techniques and apply them on the field. Man you guys worry about some of the least important stuff.

I'm on record as saying the defense in 2013 will be better than 2012.

Don't care who gets the credit.

i like this.

the man has a track record, and a great one. until it fails, we can give a benefit of the doubt.

now get the play calling duties out of jasons hands, jer.

I actually feel better about it now. I think Carter/Lee, Ratliff, Hatcher, etc. will flourish in this system.
1. Brandon Magee will beat out Ernie Sims for the backup WILL/MO roster spot.

2. Ron Leary will start at right guard over Bernadeau.

3. Joseph Randle, Terrance Williams and Gavin Escobar will have more combined TD's than DeMarco Murray, Miles Austin and Jason Witten.

4. Bruce Carter makes the Pro Bowl.

5. The starting OL will be Smith-Livings-Frederick-Leary-Free

Al Davis to Jerry through their sayence:

"Jerry next move is to make Rich Gannon your QB coach, you got Callahan and Monte already. Oh and don't forget Jim Brown, he can be your new WR's coach. we got all the momentum gooing, don't let the ball stop. Godspeed!"

I do think they should fit well. Crawford too.

Yay!

Now the Cowboys are going to be a sure-tackling, fundamentals-based 4-3 defense. At least until next year when Jerry fires Red for losing because the defense will not have the right personnel to run a good scheme. Then the new coach will come in and Jerry will fire Kiffin determining that they need to go with another defensive philosophy. Either that or Jerruh tells the new HC that he has to keep the existing staff.

Sorry for my negativity but I don't think this will end well.
Garrett to players: Make today a great day; go about the business of winning! If you can't keep up then don't step up.

count me as one of those who isnt on board with this move. i didnt like the way Ryan was fired, and really feel that the weakness of our coaching staff has to do alot more with the offensive side of the ball, and special teams. Hope it works out.
