Good question. I would have been far happier if they were announcing Smith as the DC.

Secondly, if the reason Kiffin get a free pass for his defenses awful performance at USC because of recruiting sanctions, how does Ryan not get the same benefit for all the injuries his defense suffered???

On the Cowboys Break, they were saying in the last few months of the season, Rob was not attending defensive meetings and instead it was Eberflus running the sessions.

Eberflus was the technician and the organizer essentially the "brain" of the defense, Rob was the bravado and was obviously disorganized.

Further, Henderson was apparently not happy with Rob being missing as well, on the Cowboys Break they suggested there was some discord on the defensive staff especially towards the end of the season.

As for Lovie. He was still interviewing for HC positions--including at San Diego.

You can pick something reasonable if you like. A sig or something. Or if you want to do money, pm me and we'll have one of the mods hold the pot

I'd think about it if I were you though. If we only go 5-11, I win. That's not a very fair bet for you.

I can see that. Neither Rob nor Rex seem like "attention to detail" guys.

Since he's here we have to hope for the best. Our defense for years hasnt produced turnovers or been able to stop anyone. Here's hoping we can change that. Now I'm interested in what occurs with the offense

Probably.

Wonder if 'naps' are in the contract language.

This made me chuckle.

I feel like this sets us back. Hope our defense doesn't suck next year.
