Default Tony Sparano back to Dallas? Could happen...

Jeff Sullivan ‏@SullyBaldHead

Not entirely sure of his job title, but looks more and more like Tony Sparano could be joining the Cowboys staff in the next few days.

Hmm...Callahan promoted to OC and Sparano as the OL coach?
1. Brandon Magee will beat out Ernie Sims for the backup WILL/MO roster spot.

2. Ron Leary will start at right guard over Bernadeau.

3. Joseph Randle, Terrance Williams and Gavin Escobar will have more combined TD's than DeMarco Murray, Miles Austin and Jason Witten.

4. Bruce Carter makes the Pro Bowl.

5. The starting OL will be Smith-Livings-Frederick-Leary-Free

He already carries the OC title.

Craig
Chicago thought they had a QB in Rex Grossman, Carolina had faith in Jake Delhomme. What does this have to do with the Dallas Cowboys? It just might mean that Tony Romo isn't what we thought and we may have to move forward without him.

I would put my money on Sparano being OC.

There are a number of teams that have head coaches that are also playcallers.

Tony Sparano coached TE in Dallas before moving over to OL.

Rumor has it TE coach/passing game coordinator John Garrett is being pushed out.

Connect the dots.

Sparano is a solid OL coach but don't think much of him as an OC

If Sparano rejoins the staff I would think that he does so in the same capacity as in his first stint. Garrett will still call the plays but with input from Sparano. To be honest, it wouldn't surprise me to see Callahan released if Sparano is brought back.

Yep...I think Callahan was the assistant that we heard went crazy at Valley Ranch the day that Ryan was fired.

I still think it was Callahan that was throwing a fit at V. Ranch a couple of days ago. I look for him to be gone. Maybe Sparano takes his position. I hope so anyway.

Hadn't heard that Callahan was the guy who lost it when Ryan got fired? Is there a source on that or just rumor at this point?

I think it is more rumor than anything else.
