He's the most skilled pure passer ever but he's not the best Quarterback ever.

Agree with this too. Romo is a proven choke artist as well.

Turning him into a processing robot Quarterback isn't going to help matters either.

Would you rather have a great qb that never wins you a sb? Its really a mute topic to argue over. All hypothetical.

Would you rather have Big Ben with your season on the line or Peyton Manning?

I don't think that was the intent of the thread.

Manning didn't win a superbowl. The Indianapolis colts did.

Peyton Manning made Tracy Porter relevant.

Holding my breath on contract talks. Hopefully we can get something done.

Exactly right on both accounts.

I don't think Manning or Romo are choke artists. I just think Romo is unfairly criticized for something his peers do all the time.

Every great QB has choked. Eli choked away this season, so did Ben, Peyton choked many playoff games, Brady choked some Super Bowls. It's not a matter of can you lose, it's a matter of can you win. We know Peyton, Brady, Eli, Ben, Brees, Rodgers can win. We don't know if Romo can win.

But Eli gets it done in clutch more than he does. FACT!

Peyton has had some COLLOSAL playoff losses.

Defense set him up tonight.
No way should Ravens have scored at the end of regulation.
And to that I give the same argument as for Romo. In the regular season they can make great plays and win games with single efforts, but come playoff time you need a team effort to win, and Peyton's teams have been BAD.

soooo if Payton tosses a terrible pick in OT and his team loses, its a team effort for losing...... but if Romo did it, hmmmm wonder if it still would be the team.....

I'm going to guess this isn't directed at me as this is the point I'm making.
