And if we draft OLine, and we still lose, what's the next excuse?

Yeah I remember that. I wasn't sold on Iupati as a Tackle. Kinda funny got moved to guard.
I wanted Earl Thomas in that draft. We ended up with Dez.
There was some other lineman I wanted but I can't rember who it was. I think I'll have a look.

Yeah Earl was my top pick that year as well. I knew we wouldn't get him though.

Warmack isn't a top 5 pick...

The niners intended him to be a guard when they drafted him. They already had Staley at LT and before they drafted Iupati at 17 they drafted Anthony Davis. They drafted him to be a guard from the start.

Yeah I remember watching him and thinking he wouldn't be a very good Left Tackle. That is where he was projected to play.
I guess we'll never know but I didn't think he had the feet for it.

He's got exceptional feet for a guard.
I'd rather have a dominant guard then an average tackle tbh.
I REALLY want us to get back to having a dominant OL. That starts with the most dominant Offensive Lineman in the draft... Warmack.

i dont think there will be an excuse because we'd win with an OLine.

Lol..some people will never learn. Jerry is addicted to ego. He can't help himself.
Life is like being a Cowboys fan. You never know what ya gonna get.

Jerry will continue to try to be in the spotlight and make money. He would rather be GM Jerry doing it his way and losing than Owner Jerry handing GM duties to someone else and winning. His ego is more important to him than winning.
So no matter how many times we want Jerry to listen to logic and reason, he can't hear it. The mad little voice in his head won't allow it.

AS much as I Like Warmack and Cooper, I think this is was going to happen too, our one big FA signing will be a guy like Levitre or Slauson

Warmack should be available when we pick.
When the season ends, people always overrate guards and centers. But the reality of the draft is that more premium positions go first and interior OL are typically taken in the late teens. Early teens if they're elite.
