Well, it wasn't a trick question and its an important one if you're going to discuss great QBs and use championships as a cornerstone for success.

He did have two in 58 and 59. The Colts won another championship in 68 but Morrall was the QB for the vast majority of that season. And they lost the SB to the Jets.

Here is, in the opinion of many, either the greatest or 2nd greatest QB of all time and most base that on actually watching the guy play including calling his own plays. Which brings us to the story of Manning who also runs his own offense. I don't think the overwhelming majority of people here understand that importance of any of that.

Teams win championships and QBs are particularly important for that but not the only thing. Obviously the more championships the easier it is to consider them 'great'. But there's more to it than that. And that's how many many people who put people in the HOF and others who lend their expertise in other ways feel evaluation is multifactorial. So maybe the whole thing is just not as simple as how many or how few championships you won.
Did you know there are only 5000 Snow Leopards in the wild now and they are confined to Central Asia? However, the effective global population (those likely to reproduce) is less than half that number.

I understand why everyone would bring up tony with how Peyton screwed the game up today but he's won a Super Bowl. We haven't in over 15 years. Peyton is definitely a big time choker but no comparison with tonyv

Be "he" do you mean the Indianapolis Colts? Pretty sure that SB was a team effort.

If football was all about QB play, Aaron Rodgers would never lose a game. Learn the sport, people.

And his Superbowl was a Bigtime team effort.

He carried them in the regular season but got to the post season and tried to choke.

Ill never forget how bad that Colts D was in the regular season and they turned into one of the best defenses in football pretty much over night during that playoff run.

This sucks.
No saying this excuses Romo, but they just had a stat on ESPN that this is the 8th "one and done" for Manning. This means he has lost his first playoff game of the post season 8 times already.

8 "one and dones"..................EPIC chokeville.
As the official head coach of the Dallas Cowboys, Jason Garrett is 16-16............"Its a Process of stacking good days"

2013 Prediction: "NO PLAYOFFS"

Peyton is 1 and DONE in 8 playoff seasons. He's definitely a choke artist for being a 1st overall pick and leading his teams to 12 plus wins in regular seasons. He's a All-World regular season QB that's for sure but he definitely chokes just like he was at Tennessee.

At least Romo does his choking in the regular season.
