How come Brady is letting the clock run down to 1 second on back to back plays....doesn't he know the defense will get a jump on him?
"It's little bit like the description of pornography from years back. It's hard to define it. But you know what it is at the end of it. It's hard to define it. I think you know who is more physical. Often times you see that in the fourth quarter. A lot of time the team on the other side feels it. We pride ourselves on being a physical football team. It's important to us. It's an important time of the year to lay that foundation." - Coach Garrett

How did the Pats think they could do a play action when they haven't run the ball at all?

Talib was underwhelming in Tampa but is a better player in NE. It shows you how much coaching matters.

That's fun to watch.
It certainly shows when a team has a feel for the flow of the game in real time. Catch them on their heels, speed it up to prevent proper substitutions, and off you go.

The Pats are not doing anything anyone hasn't seen in the NFL.

Because they use basic personnel sets 12, 21, 22 the other team is wasting a whole lot of time with substituitions while NE goes hurry-up. The rules only allow for time given to the other team to sub-in if the offense subs players.

In the example of the goal line play, the Texans were busy trying to get their goal line package in and the Patriots kept the same personnel in from the last play and went hurry up to snap the ball.

It's a great way to score easy points but it takes a lot of good execution from the players to do this.
