Ive never really thought KC would waste a pick on him. When they can get a player like Alex Smith or Vick in FA and draft a QB in round 2 like Barkley or Dysert and develope him. Book it, Geno smith will be a Cleveland Brown

10 - 15 years ago, maybe. Anymore, this is not an issue. The problem with Smith is that he has played in a spread for most of his career but he doesn't really show that on the run accuracy you expect out of Spread Offense QBs. He's just OK on the run. He doesn't not have Pro mechanics so he's going to have to work with some folks before the combine. I think he needs to go to the right system and I don't think he's a day 1 starter.
