Looks nice, but since I drive maybe one day a week I can't imagine I would fork out the cash for it.

This is my new baby. I just got moved to Bowling Green to assist production with the new C7 Stingray. I am leaving KC after 3 years launching the new Malibu.
I look forward to being a part of the Corvette family.

To be honest, I would say that Ferrari looks like a Corvette -- the general body style of the Corvette for the past decade or so, at least. Just add more vents.

The back end is the real weak point in this car, looks wise.
Chevrolet has done a real good job up to this model of keeping that traditional Corvette look even as the modernized.
This model looks like they went too far toward the exotic car look and not enough of the traditional Corvette look. Have to wait until its out and see how they look on the road.

Has some mid-2000's Viper design elements in it too like the curvy rear spoiler.

I agree.. love the overall look of the car.. but the back looks terrible, imo. Kinda ruins the entire product. Hope they tweak it a bit before its actually released.

Wow, sounds like a great job, but I'm sure you're incredibly busy.
Would love to get updates via PM from Bowling Green if it wouldn't be too much.
The car will take some getting used to. I was enamored with the C6 the moment it was revealed, but this one is a pretty drastic change...not to say I don't like it.

Since they did away with the hideaway headlights it looks more like a Trans Am.
(if they would have kept making them that is)
More than ever in this pic.

I don't see what you're seeing. It looks like they made a Ferrari look like a Corvette, and then Corvette got an udpate to make it look more modern/aggressive.

Yes. You can see the F-car changed its proportions drastically adopting the long nose of the Corvette..because it put the engine in the front vs. the middle/rear.

I will update as much as I can. I can tell you the production of the C6 stops February 28th. The plant will then be on idle status until August. The workers will still report to work for schooling and training. Very few saleable vehicles will be produced during this time. We will assemble, take apart, re-assemble until we work the bugs out. There are only two common parts on the C7 that were on the C6. Everything else is all new components. Line speed jumps from 8 jobs an hour to 18 in August.
