Eagles have plenty of speed.

McCoy, Vick, Jackson and Maclin are known for their speed.

How do you run the read option with Foles? LOL

And Vick would be put on IR after the first series.

Strange hire. They'll probably go for Geno Atkins. Good luck with all that.

LOL. Stupid Eagles. The read option will be solved in a year or two, and then what?

This guy is a grade A cheater in college, and he won't be able to recruit his way with handouts and 54 "cool" kiddie Nike uniforms in Philly.

Jackson and Maclin are the fastest WR duo in the NFL. Then you add in McCoy? That offense will be scary.

Which will go the same way at the zone blitz, wildcat, run-and-shoot, west coast, etc.

Kill the quarterback every time they run it. Problem solved. You can't find five read option quarterbacks to put on your roster for when they all get hurt.

He doesn't have to have a running QB. Belichick has borrowed a lot of his concepts for the hurry up type offense they run.
Ivy League

Jason Garrett offense rank minus Tony Sparano: 18, 14, 7, 15, 15

So now we’ll have two college type offenses in the NFC East with a DC who could not stop college offenses.

So true. 1/4 of our games.

I really liked the Kiffin hire but this news is pretty troubling.

Kelly is a good coach, but should we really be living in fear of a college spread coach who's never coached in the NFL? He's done wonders at Oregon, but prior to that he was a assistant at Columbia and New Hampshire. Nice hire for the Eagles, but tap the breaks.
