Those spread offenses don't always work as well at this level, and the Eagles don't have the speed that Oregon did.

Jackson and Maclin are the fastest WR duo in the NFL. Then you add in McCoy? That offense will be scary.

Which will go the same way at the zone blitz, wildcat, run-and-shoot, west coast, etc.

Kill the quarterback every time they run it. Problem solved. You can't find five read option quarterbacks to put on your roster for when they all get hurt.

I really liked the Kiffin hire but this news is pretty troubling.

Kelly is a good coach, but should we really be living in fear of a college spread coach who's never coached in the NFL? He's done wonders at Oregon, but prior to that he was a assistant at Columbia and New Hampshire. Nice hire for the Eagles, but tap the breaks.
