Kill the quarterback every time they run it. Problem solved. You can't find five read option quarterbacks to put on your roster for when they all get hurt.

Exactly. It will get figured out by d coordinators.
Like Parcells and others said, hit the qb every time they run it.

Those spread offenses don't always work as well at this level, and the Eagles don't have the speed that Oregon did.

Vick will be gone, so the read option is out the window.
None of Celek, Avant, or Cooper are all that fast, so it's still just 2 WRs you really have to worry about with their speed. Teams have been doing that for decades. McCoy is fast, but so are lots of RBs in the league. There is only so much that Kelly will be able to do without the read option, and it'd be almost impossible for him to run the no huddle the way he does at Oregon.
Just to clarify, my initial comment that the Eagles don't have the speed of Oregon meant relative to the competition. Oregon had guys at every position faster than the other team. They won't have that advantage as much at the NFL level.

Per Mort: Chip Kelly is the new Coach of the Eagles
Can only imagine how mad Phil Knight and Oregon are after this. And have to think the coming NCAA sanctions aren't going to be pretty for him to reverse course. And as always in these situations, the biggest losers are the recruits. At-least he made his intentions known before national LOI day.
Somewhere Monte Kiffin is cowering in fear after that USC/Oregon game this past season. (Before anybody gets offended, just a joke since he can't seem to escape him. From the Pac12 to the NFC East.)

The point is, not every player is NFL capable, even at USC, so its a lot harder to exploit a certain weakness in the NFL.

Not a fan of this if true. We will have to face two very fast offenses with Skins and Eagles from now on.
Bye Free and Bernadeau.
Bye Austin and Ogletree.
Bye Sensy and McCray.
Bye Garrett.

I don't think Kiffin really gives a rats *** until Philly gets an RGIII type QB

The Oregon speed thing is overrated. They PLAYED fast but they didn't exactly have all-world track stars at every position. Remember LaGarrett Blount playedin this offense.
I wouldn't really be too concerned about what personnel they have right now anyway. That will change as Kelly brings in guys to fit his system.
