We'll settle this with a good dust up.

He'll turn 37 this season. You have to look for a replacement. You can't possibly rely on a 40 year old as your best pass rusher.

I'd keep going but I don't feel like writing the obituary.
His age is a sad matter. Coach Kiffin was heard commenting how much he'll miss Ware. Said Ware is like a father to him.
Garrett to players: Make today a great day; go about the business of winning! If you can't keep up then don't step up.

What the hell is a "Jake"? You mean "Jack"? A "Jack" is a WILB in a 3-4. I assume you meant Sam. But I wouldn't do that cuz Lee is the better LB at this point and would be the Mike.

Bring Melton instead. I'm a Lobo and love Urlacher, but no.

In the final two months of 2011, Romo’s passer rating was 115.9.

With a new coaching structure beginning to take shape and Marinelli walking out on the Bears and its veteran defense, where does this leave veteran star MLB Brian Urlacher who is heading into free agency?

The obvious rumor for a landing spot for Marinelli has come in the shape of the Dallas Cowboys, who have recently installed the Tampa-2 defense under new coordinator Monte Kiffin. Marinelli served under Kiffin for four years at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as defensive line coach.

GREAT!!!!

So, will he be the LB coach, or just a special assistant??? He has alot to teach the D. Maybe even fire up the Boys. Hell, name him assistant to the GM.

What???

As a active player?????

No. Freaking. Way.

So what did this article actually say.

1. Marinelli is headed to Dallas
2. Urlacher is a FA and because of a scheme change may be out in Chicago.
3. Urlacher knows this defense cold.

The rest of the complaints in this thread are fans trying to read something into it.

He suggests Urlacher could land here, and his contention Ware is better suited for the pass rush. I'll give you that he was stretching it a bit about including Ware.

As far as Lee goes, who's to say he doesn't play outside?

Sometimes I don't get the know-it-all attitude some have here.

I thought Ware was only 16, or am I confusing him with Tyron Smith?

I've always thought that Urlacher would have been a beast in the 3-4 as well. As an OLB? Would have been awesome.
