Default What about adding Ed Reed for 1-2 years?

I know we're strapped for cash, but what about adding Reed for 1-2 years to show our young guys in the secondary the ropes.
All Process and No Progress.

Possibly retiring, signs of ageing are showing.

Highly unlikely he leaves Baltimore.

I know you mean play-wise, but man, Reed has looked like a 50 year old since he came out of Miami. He's like the anti-Ray Rice (who still looks 14)

I would take Ed Reed at 50 over this bunch. This guy is a HOF.

An aging and broken down Ed Reed is still about 20X better than a fully healthy and youthful McCray.

If you could guarantee he'd be on the field, I'd take him at a reasonable price.

Without a doubt one of my favorite players in the league.

One of the best, and smartest, center fielders of all time.

Won't leave Baltimore. If they don't want him he'll retire

I don't think he would leave Baltimore. Only scenario is if Baltimore offers him like $6m and we double it. Even then he might want to finish his career there.

If we could somehow make it work then of course we should, we would instantly turn our biggest weakness into one of our biggest strengths. That's the formula for building a good team. IE; Redskins QB - add RG3.

It would take a small fortune (which we don't have) to get him here because you're exactly right. In the unlikely scenario he did decide to play for another team, the Patriots would probably be his first choice. Belichick has been courting him for years and they are much closer to a title than we are.

We don't have the $ to sign him. We can get an upgrade at the safety position in the draft. I don't foresee him playing outside of a Raven uniform. If he hits the open market and goes after $ then TB would have the $ to sign him and have him play alongside Barron.

No thanks every DC that has been in Baltimore always pulled their hair out because he would free lance way to much. Plus he is getting into the whole Favre thing every time the Ravens try and get him to do off season stuff, I am thinking I may retire ask me in a month.
For those of you that were "offended" by last 2 sigs this one is for you.

Didn't he skip training camp or something a couple times lol?

Oh well, he's still a beast.
