The fact that Marinelli might be "considered" for their staff doesn't mean he'll even get an offer, and doesn't mean they're looking at him as a DC.

Hopefully this will calm some of the folks that are about to go into cardiac arrest!

But Marinelli likely knew Gus was getting a job somewhere. This isn't out of the blue

You are such an optimist. They enjoy their panic attacks too much for that.

I wouldn't want to get in a bidding war with Jerry when no cap is a factor.

This sounds like a last minute publicity stunt by an agent to squeeze some extra cash out of Jerry in contract negotiations.

I was thinking this might be from the Jags. He's obv getting it from somewhere.

I really think Joe Barry potentially coming to Dallas is going play a role in this. He's Marinelli's son-in-law, which means Marinelli and his wife would be in the same city as their daughter (and potentially grandkids??) if Dallas brought him over from San Diego. When you get that age (Marinelli is 64), family gets to be more important. Particularly if you've spent your life in a career that's kept you away from family.

Despite labeling myself a "realist", no one understands my pain or appreciates my special truth. Stupid world.

I am okay with that. Jerry makes us pay, make him pay first.

Barry isn't rumored to J-Ville, but rather back to USC.
