You've earned yourself another pat on the head from the owner.
I just feel fortunate how everything is working out perfectly for the Cowboys.

We'll settle this with a good dust up.

The only question is if Dallas would choose/be able to get Barry to come over to coach LB's instead, since Barry has coached with Marinelli and Kiffin for years and years and is Marinelli's son-in-law.

If I were an up and coming coach, and I had the option to hitch my career to Kiffen or RR, it would be a very easy choice.
Just looking at the Kiffen's coaching tree . . . .
I remember after undergraduate school (many moons ago), I went into finance. The one word of advice I never forgot was to find the most successful managing director at the firm and attach myself to his coattails (at least early on in my career).

If Rob does end up with the Rams, he isn't going to have any of his assistants is he?

That's good. I mean I'm not sure if he's more or less responsible for this than Rob is, but the LB play (especially given the injuries) was impressive.
We need wins, and that's all we need. I don't give a damn about anyone on this roster over wins. I'd trade Ware, Lee and Dez if it meant more wins.

I don't how this shocks anyone. If I'm a guy like Eb, I see an opportunity to greatly expand my experience by working with a legend (and a really good coach in Marinelli as well)

....I guess Fisher is gonna hire him for St. Louey if Rod shows up sober and sane. Hey, all joking aside that young Ram D' is GOOD....he fell into a good situation there.

Good, I really didn't want to lose Eberflus. Out of the defensive assistants Henderson and Eberflus were the two I wanted to keep.
I also liked Baker but if you add a guy like Rod Marinelli then that's enough said. This defensive staff is looking real good. Let's hope we can get the rest of the pieces player wise to be a great defense once again.

It also good to have some carry over rather than a complete turnover in staff. That way some guys know the players from personal experience and can share opinions. Saves time, can make evaluations better and might help mistakes from being repeated.
If it's Henderson and Eberflus staying on, I think that would be a good thing.

Wonder how high on the priority scale Ernie Simms is. He was drafted and coached by Marinelli in Detroit and played above expectations for Eberflus last year. Cowboys are going to need LB depth, Connor likely a cap casualty, McSurdy and Lemon too slow for the 4-3, and Lee/Carter both injury prone.

Despite labeling myself a "realist", no one understands my pain or appreciates my special truth. Stupid world.

sims, albright, wilber needs to step up, and i'm guessing one late FA addition or late draft pick/UDFA. not elite depth but serviceable.
